Hiring Contracts Manager – To Join Immediately

• Provide guidance and support on all commercial issues related to the projects.
• Ensure project monthly reports are accurate and delivered on time.
• Ensure payment applications and certification is submitted and obtained in accordance with the specific applicable contract terms.
• Take the lead with the preparation of Subcontracts, negotiate and agree on terms.
• Provide contractual and commercial advice to the project management team on all contractual and commercial issues.
• Carry out tender reviews to identify risk and onerous conditions.
• Provide support in terms of the contract administration of major issues on projects.
• Take the lead in the preparation and submission of claims.
• Take the commercial lead in the negotiations and dealings with Contractor, Project Manager, Consultant and other vendors
• Provide assistance and support Head of Commercial as required.
• Any other reasonable duties as required.
• Must have an excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Be able to communicate upstream as well as downstream.
• Be able to deal with Contractor, Project Manager, Consultants representatives.
• Ability and drive to work under own incentive although equally adept at taking instruction when required to do so.
• Ability to prioritize work and deliver on time.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• Demonstrated level of exposure working with Contracting side with 10 -15 years of experience in, Construction, Real Estate projects in the UAE/ GCC region
• At least 3- 5 years as a Contracts/Commercial manager in a Contracting firm
