Hiring Automotive Accessories Compliance Engineer

REPORTS TO: Engineering Manager

JOB SUMMARY

• Under the supervision of the Engineering Manager, as Compliance Engineer your primary role is to use your technical knowledge and previous experience to handle the day-to-day compliance tasks required.
• You shall be involved in the initial concept, design, development and management of various projects as directed by the Company.
• We expect you to have a strong technical knowledge, as well as problem solving, communication, leadership and project management skills.
• The compliance engineer position is responsible for resolving all compliance issues in engineering and design.
• You will be responsible for creating compliance programs and executing them, as well as documentation and recommending process changes.
• Experience with policy and law in manufacturing is appreciated.

Required Education and/or Experience:

• 7+ years of Automotive experience in product development and quality compliance, APQP, PPAP activities.
• Bachelor of Engineering mandatory
• Proficient in MS Project – minimum 2 years of experience able to define and work with critical paths.
• Proven experience of Automotive Product development and compliance engineering
• Strong engineering and technical know-how of Automotive accessories (electrical and mechanical) and testing.
• Have strong understanding of OEM testing requirements, OE test standards, regulatory requirements and preparation of DVPR.
• Basic knowledge of GD&T – understand dimensions and tolerances in drawings and CMM reports.
• Knowledge to utilize Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Database, Projects).
• Experience on Preparing and understanding of 2D Engineering drawings.
• Understanding of 3D Product design.
• Certification of Quality control is a strong advantage (ISO 9000, TS 16949, Certified Auditor etc.)
