Hiring Collections Officer
- Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE)
- Employment Type: Full Time
- Experience Required: 2 – 8 years
- Monthly Salary: AED 7,000 – 9,000 ($1,891 – $2,431)
- Education Required: Any Graduation
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Contacting customers to collect outstanding debts and negotiate payment plans.
- Investigating and resolving customer queries and disputes related to billing and payments.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activities.
- Preparing and sending collection letters and notices to customers.
- Working with internal teams to address customer issues and facilitate timely payments.
- Monitoring and tracking overdue accounts and initiating appropriate actions for recovery.
- Reviewing and analyzing customer accounts to identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Providing regular reports on collection activities and progress to management.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies during the collection process.
- Maintaining professionalism and excellent customer service while dealing with customers in difficult situations.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in collections or a similar role.
- Knowledge of debt collection laws and practices.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to analyze data.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using collection software and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and difficult customers.
- Fluency in written and spoken English, French, and Arabic.
