Hiring Collections Officer

• Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE)
• Employment Type: Full Time
• Experience Required: 2 – 8 years
• Monthly Salary: AED 7,000 – 9,000 ($1,891 – $2,431)
• Education Required: Any Graduation

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Contacting customers to collect outstanding debts and negotiate payment plans.
• Investigating and resolving customer queries and disputes related to billing and payments.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activities.
• Preparing and sending collection letters and notices to customers.
• Working with internal teams to address customer issues and facilitate timely payments.
• Monitoring and tracking overdue accounts and initiating appropriate actions for recovery.
• Reviewing and analyzing customer accounts to identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Providing regular reports on collection activities and progress to management.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies during the collection process.
• Maintaining professionalism and excellent customer service while dealing with customers in difficult situations.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in collections or a similar role.
• Knowledge of debt collection laws and practices.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to analyze data.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in using collection software and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and difficult customers.
• Fluency in written and spoken English, French, and Arabic.
