Hiring Cloud and Local Data Engineer

We’re seeking a skilled and passionate Cloud and Local Data Engineer to join our team and drive the design, implementation, and maintenance of our cloud and on-premises data infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain robust cloud and on-premises data infrastructure, leveraging IaaS, PaaS, virtualization, and storage solutions.
• Implement cloud infrastructure redundancy and disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
• Manage Azure services, including Blob Storage, Containers, IAM, Virtual Networks, IoT Hub, Cognitive Services, NSG, SSL, Key Vault, Firewalls, Peering, and Defender for Cloud, Private Endpoints, Bastion, Front Door, CDN, Traffic Manager, Load Balancers, Application Gateway, and Insights tools.
• Administer Windows Server environments (AD, DNS, DHCP, HyperV), Linux servers, backup solutions (Symantec Backup EXEC, Veritas EXEC), data centers, SAN/NAS storage, Fortigate firewalls, site-to-site VPNs, security policies, AV servers, and application servers.
• Optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
• Implement and maintain data security measures to protect sensitive information.
• Troubleshoot data-related issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to facilitate data access and analysis.

Required Skills and Experience:

• In-depth expertise in cloud computing (Azure), IaaS, PaaS, virtualization, and storage technologies.
• Strong understanding of data engineering principles and best practices.
• Experience with Windows Server, Linux, and networking technologies.
• Hands-on experience with data security and disaster recovery concepts.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in a data engineering or cloud infrastructure role.
