Description:

ILF Consulting Engineers is seeking to hire a Civil Design Engineer (Oil & Gas Projects) with a minimum of 8-10 years of experience for our office in Abu Dhabi.

Job Description:

• Civil and Structural design and analysis of pipe racks, pipe supports, process structures & foundations, etc. 
• Civil and Structural design of buildings like process buildings, electrical substations, control buildings, other buildings in the facility, etc. 
• Thorough knowledge of preparation of architectural deliverables for shelters and buildings, schedules, etc. 
• Development of Civil, Structural & Architectural (CSA) design basis, specifications, EPC Scope of work, MTOs and method statements.
• Equipment foundations, concrete tanks and other structures, water intakes, anchor blocks, etc.
• Platforms and cross-overs.
• General Civil Engineering activities site grading’s, roads and
• Pavements, tank foundations, concrete pits, underground services, etc. 
• Design Assessments & Adequacy checks for the above items.
• Geotechnical and Topographical survey works scope of work & reports.
• Carry out site visits to client facilities as required. Site survey and data collection, system adequacy checks.
• Liaise with designers, and provides input for 3D Model in the preparation of drawings and details. 
• Ensure all civil and structural deliverables are being issued fully aligned with all other disciplines like piping, mechanical, HSE, electrical, and instrument.
• Perform regular and timely technical reviews and approval of structural engineering and design deliverables developed by engineering consultants/contractors, ensuring design quality in compliance with relevant codes, standards, and best practices.

Competency Requirements:

• Strong basic technical knowledge in the relevant discipline.
• Strong design and analytical skills with problem-solving ability.
• Familiar with the relevant design software packages ex. STAAD Pro, SAP, MAT-3D, Mathcad, Master series Navis works etc.
• Familiar with International codes and standards, Company standards.

Qualification and Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of professional experience in the design of oil and gas processing, water treatment, power generation, power distribution, and infrastructure facilities as a Civil and Structural Engineer.
• Experience in feasibility studies, conceptual design pre-FEED, FEED, and detailed design.
