Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cisco Voice Engineer with a CCIE certification to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining Cisco voice and collaboration solutions. As a Cisco Voice Engineer, you will ensure the reliability, performance, and security of our voice communication infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and Implementation:
- Design, configure, and implement Cisco voice and collaboration solutions to meet business requirements.
- Perform system upgrades and migrations as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate voice systems with other technologies.
- Maintenance and Support:
- Provide ongoing support for Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Cisco Unity Connection, and other Cisco voice platforms.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis.
- Implement security best practices to protect voice systems from threats.
Documentation:
- Maintain detailed documentation of voice network configurations, changes, and upgrades.
Collaboration:
- Work with network engineers, system administrators, and other IT teams to ensure seamless communication and integration.
- Compliance and Best Practices:
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in voice and collaboration technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Information Technology, etc.) preferred.
- Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) certification in Voice/Collaboration is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and supporting Cisco voice solutions.
- Strong knowledge of Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Cisco Unity Connection, and Cisco voice gateways.
- Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting SIP, H.323, and MGCP protocols.
- Experience with VoIP technologies and protocols, including QoS.
- Familiarity with network security principles and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
