A reputable contracting firm in Riyadh is urgently seeking a seasoned Chief Financial Officer to lead its finance function and support strategic growth. This senior role calls for a hands-on finance leader who can manage day-to-day accounting operations, shape financial strategy, and ensure regulatory compliance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee all financial and accounting activities across the company to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Prepare, review and present budgets, periodic financial statements, and forward-looking forecasts.
- Ensure adherence to Saudi accounting standards and local financial regulations.
- Design, refine, and enforce financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and internal controls.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to deliver high performance and accountability.
- Monitor cash flow, conduct profit & loss analyses, and provide actionable recommendations to support strategic decisions.
- Work closely with other departments to provide financial insight for project planning and operational decisions.
- Manage relationships and communications with banks, government agencies, auditors, and external financial advisors.
Requirements:
- At least 8 years of progressive experience in finance, with strong exposure to the contracting or construction sector.
- Proven ability to use modern accounting software and financial management systems.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and strategic decision-making skills.
- Professional-level English proficiency for international communications.
