Hiring Chief Executive Officer – ENERGY Dubai Multi Commodities Centre #SL+#Global (selected candidate will be based in Dubai)

The Position:

• Works in close collaboration with the Board of Management to design and articulate the company’s growth strategies with key focus on LPG Midstream market growth and capitalization at an International level.
• Source and trade in LPG within the South Asian region by leveraging on the base LPG volumes required by the company downstream businesses in Sri Lanka and Bangladesh and optimizing the company’s LPG midstream infrastructure in terminals and vessels.
• Lead negotiation efforts with a high level of bargaining power for major contracts and contract reviews by capitalizing on the strengths of the LPG Cluster and Group synergies.
• Formulating the long-range and annual strategic business and financial plans, including revenue, expenditure, working capital, cash flows, and capex.
• Mitigating the price volatility of the LPG inventories arising from the monthly CP fluctuations.
• Proactively propose LPG arbitrage and product SWAP opportunities and risk-mitigation strategies to the LPG Cluster management.
• Competitive sourcing and supply of LPG required for the trading operations, including for the Parent company’s captive markets and overall customers.
• Ensuring compliance and regulatory requirements in accordance with the company acts and laws of UAE and Sri Lanka.
• Abreast with global political and economic events, and their implications to crude oil based commodities, especially LPG.
• Create effective open communication channels and monitor its effectiveness.
• Build organization capability by promoting a performance driven and a learning culture.
