• Worked in a retail organization
• Reviewing and analyzing data to determine if it can be used to improve operations
• Developing a digital strategy that aligns with the organization’s overall business strategy
• Working directly with executive leadership to develop a comprehensive digital strategy that encompasses all aspects of the business
• Monitoring industry trends related to digital marketing and technology in order to identify opportunities for adoption within the company
• Leading digital transformation efforts within an organization by Developing digital products and services that help meet business goals
• Ensuring that the company has an effective online presence through websites, social media channels, blogs, and other online media
• Creating a digital culture within the organization that promotes innovation and encourages new ways of doing business
• Developing digital marketing strategies and campaigns that promote products or services to target audiences
• Overseeing it infrastructure projects that improve the company’s ability to store and process large amounts of data
• Sets out the enterprise strategy for technology and defines the future releases, accounting and balancing business drivers, supplier roadmaps, project dependencies and technical constraints.
• Directs the planning and execution of release plans, facilitating the coordination the relevant suppliers – internal and external – and is accountable for the communication of this to all stakeholders.
• Be accountable for the direction, design and implementation of policies across infrastructure to provide working technology systems in line with corporate standards.
• Accountable for the establishment and management of the relevant budgets across the Technology teams.
• Accountable for strong configuration management and version control disciplines being in place across the Technology team.
• Determines the structures and resourcing across Technology in partnership with HR & Finance.
• Coordinates the subject matter expertise to direct or support analysis of data to diagnose issues or determine enhancements.
• Be accountable for the overall Technology strategy documentation.
• Sets the strategies and advocate with business and Technology representatives on controlled releases.
• Sets the Technology team plans and schedules and be accountable for reporting on progress, risks, issues and sets direction on delivery to time, quality, and cost.
• Assure suppliers and where required be prepared to intercede with support from the supporting functions as required.
