Hiring Chartered Accountant
The ideal candidate will play a key role in overseeing the financial operations and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations within our real estate development company.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to provide insights into the company’s financial performance and make strategic recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements.
- Develop and implement internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and mitigate risks.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax authorities, and other stakeholders to facilitate audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital management to optimize financial resources and support business operations.
- Provide financial analysis and support for real estate development projects, including feasibility studies, investment appraisals, and cost control.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, sales and marketing, and legal, to ensure financial objectives are aligned with overall business goals.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, accounting regulations, and best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation in financial management processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) designation required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably within the Real Estate Development industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and taxation laws.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
