Key Responsibilities
- Accurately process medical claims utilizing our EMR system, leveraging your expertise in CPT and ICD coding.
- Investigate, analyze, and address data entry discrepancies through EMR systems and Microsoft Office tools.
- Aggregate and validate information for revenue cycle analysis, ensuring seamless operations.
- Assess system updates related to revenue cycle processes and provide insightful feedback.
- Act as a resource for resolving intricate issues and challenges.
- Facilitate training for new providers, staff, and coders to ensure team preparedness and support.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify and mitigate denial occurrences.
- Perform regular coding audits to guarantee accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in multi-specialty coding.
- Bilingual capabilities are advantageous but not mandatory.
- An active and valid Certified Coding (CPC) certification is essential.
