Description:

Hiring Cathodic Protection Specialist

• Candidate must be in the UAE and can start immediately.
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, specializing in Cathodic Protection (CP) Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in CP design, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and monitoring.
• Corrosion Protection: Ensure reinforcements in concrete structures are protected from corrosion via CP systems.
• Senior Specialist Role: NACE certified Cathodic Protection Specialist or Level 4 certified to BS EN 15257 with at least 3 years of experience in the Middle East.
• Design and Specification: Expertise in planning, layout, and ensuring designs meet technical and project requirements.
• Technical Drawings and Specifications: Responsible for specifying materials, equipment, and techniques, conducting feasibility studies, and cost-benefit analyses.
• Installation Oversight: Ensure compliance with design specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations, and provide technical guidance.
• Monitoring and Maintenance: Implement monitoring programs, analyze data, conduct inspections, and perform maintenance.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose issues and develop corrective action plans for existing CP systems.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure CP activities comply with standards and regulations (e.g., NACE, ISO) and stay updated on CP technology and regulations.
• Documentation: Prepare detailed technical reports, design documents, and maintenance records.
• Training and Support: Provide training and technical support, and conduct workshops and seminars.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Communication Skills: Proficient in written and verbal communication, with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel to various project sites as required. valid UAE driver’s license is a plus.
