What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Accurately post and reconcile cash transactions in accordance with regulatory and contractual obligations
- Collaborate with team members to address cash reconciliation issues impacting accounts receivable
- Process incoming correspondence and payer remittances efficiently
- Research and correct posting errors, both electronic and manual
- Maintain knowledge of cash reconciliation requirements and department performance metrics
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
- 1+ years of experience with cash posting and reconciliation operations in a healthcare setting
- 1+ years of experience with lock box reconciliation and electronic remittance posting
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Word
- Ability to meet or exceed performance standards related to quality and productivity
