Job Summary:

  • The Business Development Manager role encompasses three primary responsibilities:
  • Fundraising: This critical component involves identifying, engaging, and securing funding from venture capital firms and other potential investors.
  • Coordination and Cooperation: Ensuring effective communication and timely completion of milestones through coordinated efforts.
  • Independence and Autonomy: The role demands a high degree of independence and self-direction.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with venture capital firms, angel investors, and other funding sources through cold calling, emailing, etc.
  • Monitor and analyze fundraising trends and opportunities within the fintech sector.
  • Prepare and present compelling pitches to potential investors.
  • Organize and manage investor meetings, roadshows, and follow-up communications.
  • Provide regular updates to the executive team on fundraising activities and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to create investor-focused materials, including pitch decks, executive summaries, and financial models.
  • Work closely with the executive team to develop and refine the company’s value proposition and investment thesis.
  • Keep records of conversation/interaction with VC funds and potential investors, using CRM tools.


  • Proven working experience in a relevant role. Experience in customer support/product owner is a plus.
  • Proficiency in English, French is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to convey message through simple terms.
  • Strong base knowledge in Cryptocurrency, knowledge in computer science is a plus (ML/AI).
  • Capability of working in full autonomous and independency.
  • Team spirit, with the ability of managing multiples folder in the same time, and highly efficient in the organization of tasks.
