Position Purpose
The Bookkeeper is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records across a portfolio of companies by recording, managing, and monitoring all financial transactions. This role includes handling accounts payable, balance sheet reconciliation, month-end and preparing financial reports to ensure the company’s financial health and compliance with regulations.
Hou You Impact Success
- Full Charge Bookkeeping. Manage all aspects of the portfolio’s full-cycle accounting (e.g. record keeping, pre-tax preparation, bank & trust account reconciliation, cash flow, auditing, account management, reporting, etc.)
- Corporate cards. Oversee the handling of corporate cards including but not limited to card issuance, expense tracking, receipt collection, employee training, and security.
- Support. Partner and collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors for a seamless execution of accounting operations.

Requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
- 5+ years’ experience as a bookkeeper or similar role.
- Proven operational and technical accounting skills including debits, credits and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) is required.
- Proficiency in the following software: Adobe, Bill.com, Harvest, and Click-up is highly desired.

Working Hours And Location
Standard hours Monday-Friday, eight hours per day. This position is primarily remote and may require occasional travel.
Travel Requirements
Up to 5% local and domestic travel.

BASE PAY RANGE: $74,880-$87,360 annualized
