BIM MEP Coordinator

For Construction Company

A Parttime (only In Dubai) position that will require the application of acquired knowledge and experience in the 3d modeling for Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing

Main Responsibilities

• Create BIM Model (MEP & HVAC model) up to LOD 450 and do clash detection for coordination.
• Prepare MEP Building Services Layouts.
• Coordinates with the Engineer in preparation of design drawings and details for construction.
• Check drawings for discrepancies and errors and do corrections necessary for the project.
• Provides spot detail / Shop drawings for the clarity of the plans and details.
• Responsible for MEP drawing coordination with Architectural
• Create Architectural and structural 3D Models based on 2D drawings and do clash detection for coordination.
• Coordinates with the Architect (architectural model input) to prepare Shop drawings and details for construction.
• Able to use engineering sizing tools for pipes, ducts, cables, etc.
• Making Coordination Meetings with Project Team.
• Extract BOQs & schedules for all MEP components such as Pipes, cable trays, cables , ducts, valves , duct accessories

Main Skills

• Ability to work using modeling software such as ( Revit )
• Ability to use clash detection software’s such as Navisworks
• Have strong engineering background in both mechanical and electrical field
• Have fair knowledge on the MEP & HVAC system components and uses
• Education
• Diploma in on of engineering field ( mechanical preferred )
