Hiring BIM Architect Specialist

Qualifications

• Proficient in leading BIM software like Revit or ArchiCAD is essential. This includes creating families, 3D modeling, and generating construction documentation.
• Able to use the program on a daily basis
• Prepare shop drawings with suppliers
• Strong understanding of BIM principles, workflows, and best practices for design and construction
• Familiar with data exchange formats to ensure seamless collaboration with engineers and other disciplines
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field is preferred
• Solid understanding of architectural design principles, building codes, and construction materials
• Familiarity with construction methods and sequencing is beneficial for creating realistic and buildable BIM models
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, and construction teams
• Ability to identify and resolve design and constructability issues within the BIM model
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and keep the BIM model up-to-date
• Familiar with complementary software like spreadsheets, rendering programs, or project management tools can be advantageous
