Description

AES is hiring a Billing Specialist! The Billing Specialist will work closely with Operations and Office Staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of all customer invoicing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process all invoicing including but not limited to Time & Material, Planned Maintenance, Fixed Fee Projects.
  • Ensure that each invoice meets AES’s internal requirements and has obtained proper approvals.
  • Generate and analyze necessary reporting to verify that final invoicing figures reconcile with project documentation.
  • Review all invoicing prior to distribution to confirm that all remittance information is accurate, and customer instructions are followed.
  • Interact with customers to resolve any billing issues.
  • Process the daily cash deposits.
  • Collaborate with the AES team (Sales, General Manager, Ops Manager) to assist with the timely collection of all open receivable balances.
  • Work with Operation Team to ensure timely invoicing and that all monthly cutoffs are met.
  • Utilize client specific software for invoicing (Track, Ariba, Coupa).
  • Ability to train and cross-train on Spectrum/Track.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • 5+ years’ experience in a Billing Specialist (or similar) role
  • Experience using Track software highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of billing and collections processes in a high-volume environment
  • Excellent attention to details
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong people skills and willingness to collaborate.
  • Experience working in a high-demand, fast-paced industry.
