RxBenefits is hiring! We are adding a Billing Specialist II to the growing Finance team in our Birmingham, AL headquarters.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
Required Skills / Experience:
- Entry level billing staff (2+ years in billing processor role)
- Some related accounting or office experience
- Accounting, finance or other business B.S. degree preferred, but not required
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- A good knowledge and understanding of billing transactions and processes
- Demonstrated ability to research and resolve routine billing questions and discrepancies with supervision
- Attention to detail and ability to problem solve
- Well-developed written and oral communications skills
- Understanding the importance of confidentiality when handling PHI (Protected Health Information)
- Highly collaborative team player
- Good math aptitude and the ability to work accurately with numbers are essential
- Takes initiative, willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done
- Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously to meet deadlines
Based on relevant market data and other factors, the anticipated hiring range for this role is $43,060 – $50,600 annually. Final compensation rates will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, and internal equity considerations. This role is also short-term incentive eligible. Incentive amounts will vary by individual and business goals.
