Summary of Position
Responsible for preparing invoices, processing accruals and handling account reconciliations. This position will also support Account Managers and Account Representatives with any questions related to customer invoices assigned to them. Work with various departments with the AR questions. Help with research of various projects. Knowledge in excel is a requirement. Advancement to other positions in accounting is available with a positive attitude, good work ethic and willing to help with various projects when asked.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Complete all reconciliations assigned by last Friday of the month.
- Responsible for flat fee billing as well as related accrual and AR management.
- Responsible for Leisure AR management.
- Record hotel program invoices and AR management.
- Running various reports for other departments related to the AR.
- Processing the write offs with journal entries need.
- Filing all backup documentation from write off mailbox into file on main drive. Includes write offs that needed check request.
- Work with other departments related to delinquent balances on AR.
- Work with groups and events with balances and post entries to close various groups when travel is completed.
- Maintain good attendance record.
- Other duties assigned.

Education and Experience
Associate degree in accounting or related field or equivalent work experience of 2 years in accounting work preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Read and interpret documents.
- Read and comprehend correspondence, follows basic instructions, and writes business memos or other correspondence.
- Effectively provide information to others in small group presentations or one-on-one situations.
- Interpret accounting data and comprehend debits and credits.
- Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Comprehend instructions and follow directions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Handle problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- This position does not require certificates, licenses, or registrations related to the travel industry.
- Strong computer skills are essential including MS Office (Excel, Access, Word, etc.).
- Experience with accounting software helpful but not required.
