Job Purpose:

The Billing Coordinator will be a member of our growing finance team, located within commuting distance to our Chatsworth offices. In this role, you will provide accurate and timely processing of monthly billing, payroll for multiple, global locations, accounting transactions, and accounts receivable.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Performs routine accounting activities such as data entry, maintenance of the general ledger, as well as preparation of various accounting statements and financial reports.
  • Process semi-monthly/monthly payroll for all employees (salaried and hourly) across multiple locations and countries.
  • Ensures the accuracy of entries to ledger accounts and reconciles subsidiary ledger accounts to the general ledger.
  • Reviews, codes, and verifies transactions including billings, invoices, checks, and journal entries.
  • Reconciles accounts and bank statements.
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings.
  • Works closely with HR and Accounting teams to ensure accurate employee records, compensation, and reporting.
  • Ensures all Federal, Regional, and State tax regulations are followed, and adds new registrations for remote locations as-needed.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Associates degree or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Interest in Finance, Accounting, or HR.
  • Excellent attention to detail, result oriented.
  • Effective team player.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excel proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to Commute to the Chatsworth, California Office for team collaboration, meetings, billing, and certain payroll tasks.
  • Prefer 1-2 years’ experience in Accounting or HR. Recent graduates will be considered.
  • Finance or HR system experience (NetSuite, Paylocity, Salesforce, etc.).
