Job Summary

BRG is seeking a full-time Billing Clerk with preferred experience in professional services, legal finance, or similar fields. Familiarity with Workday, Intapp, or Chrome River is a plus.

The Billing Clerk will report to the Billing Manager and is responsible for delivering exceptional service to the Firm’s personnel, clients, and subcontractors. The ideal candidate will exhibit critical thinking skills, meticulous attention to detail, a commitment to producing high-quality and accurate work, and a professional teamwork attitude while supporting the Firm and department goals in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the time corrections mailbox
  • Reconcile and modify time entries
  • Review weekly and monthly adherence to time entry deadlines
  • Conduct weekly reviews of all unreleased expert and staff time entries
  • Send follow-up reminders to experts and staff for unreleased and overdue time entries
  • Monitor and track matter activation for time entry purposes
  • Manage the billing backup mailbox
  • Retrieve and provide supporting documentation for invoices
  • Package supporting documentation to accompany invoices
  • Perform ad hoc tasks/projects as required

Required Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience
  • Proficient 10-key and keyboarding skills
  • Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Exceptional organizational skills, follow-up skills, and strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet established deadlines
  • Consistent attendance and reliability

Candidates must be able to submit verification of their legal right to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
