Description
We are offering a short term Part Time Remote contract employment opportunity for a Billing Clerk in the legal industry, specifically within the Family/Criminal/Real Estate Law sector. The position is located in Matteson, Illinois, 60443, United States, and is remote.
Responsibilities
- Generate client invoices in a timely and accurate manner
- Undertake collection efforts for past due invoices
- Utilize SQUARE for all billing-related tasks
- Apply your Legal Billing skills to ensure effective and efficient operations
- Maintain a detailed and accurate record of client billing information
- Resolve any billing inquiries from clients promptly and professionally
- Monitor client accounts regularly and take necessary action when needed
- Be a team player, contributing to the smooth running of our remote operations.
The salary range for this position is $20/hr. to $25/hr. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance. Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Billing Clerk or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Legal Billing is mandatory.
- Demonstrated expertise in general Billing procedures.
- Proven experience in Billing Collection.
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using computer software and applications relevant to the job.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of organization and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A degree or certification in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
