 The CPS Settlement and Billing Team is responsible for the monthly billing, verifying pricing and transaction activities are billed accurately. This team is also responsible for the reconciliation of Jack Henry’s Settlement accounts to Fiserv, MasterCard, and Visa. Our team supports JH’s internal support teams and JH clients and participates in audit exercises and continuous improvement projects.

 The ideal candidate will be able to work both independently and as part of a team. He/she is a self-starter and takes initiative to find strategic ways to improve our processes.

 This position can be worked remotely within the United States from 8am-5pm CST. The salary range is $48,000 – $52,000, dependent on experience and location.

 What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Settlement
  • Reconciles all settlement accounts daily.
  • Balances bank statements daily, resolving any returns/rejects and out of balance conditions.
  • Collaborates with implementation teams, programmers, and networks/alliances to resolve all setup, coding, and settlement related issues.
  • Builds strong internal partnerships with business unit and corporate teams to share knowledge to improve settlement processes.
  • Develops and implements process improvements to automate settlement where possible.
  • Assists with creating macros or processes to manage settlement tasks that cannot be automated.

Billing

  • Utilizes documentation, pricing guides, and client agreements, etc. to ensure products and services are billed accurately.
  • Analyzes and researches vendor expenses for trends and possible issues.
  • Collaborates with the sales team to ensure billing software supports pricing and accurate client billing.
  • Builds strong internal partnerships with business unit and corporate teams to share knowledge to improve billing processes.
  • Develops and implements process improvements to streamline the end-of-month invoicing process.
  • Prepares, analyzes, and audits third-party invoices to ensure accurate billing and efficiency to pass on accurate billing to our clients.
  • Participates in corporate audits.
  • May support less experienced team members.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 What you’ll need to have:

  • 3 years of experience in accounting, finance or related field.
  • Advanced Excel skills including automating tasks using VBA macros, creating pivot tables and using XLOOKUP

 What would be nice for you to have?

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.

Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks. Works on generally routine assignments, occasionally deviating from defined procedures.
