Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Bidding Specialist to join our team. As a Bidding Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our organization’s growth by managing the bidding process for various projects and contracts. Your ability to analyze project requirements, develop competitive bids, and communicate effectively with clients will directly impact our success in securing new business opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze project bid documents, contracts, and related materials to fully understand client requirements and expectations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and finance, to gather necessary information for preparing accurate and competitive bids.
  • Develop well-structured, comprehensive, and compelling bids that address client needs while highlighting our strengths and capabilities.
  • Utilize bid management tools and software to organize, track, and document bid-related information, ensuring accuracy and compliance with deadlines.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor strategies, and pricing models to enhance our bidding strategies.
  • Evaluate bid risks and opportunities, providing recommendations and solutions to optimize bid outcomes.
  • Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client interactions to gather insights and clarify bid-related queries.
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure bids align with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and present bid summaries, analyses, and recommendations to internal stakeholders for review and approval.
  • Maintain a database of bid templates, pricing structures, and other resources to streamline the bidding process.
  • Continuously assess and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the bidding process, implementing best practices and lessons learned from previous bids.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
  • Proven experience of 3 to 5 years in bid management, proposal writing, within FM industry.
  • Strong understanding of bid processes, including RFPs
  • Professional certifications related to bidding, proposal management, or project management are a plus.
