We are looking for Back Office Agent for our client in Dubai, UAE.

Position: Back Office Agent- Treasury & Payments

Department: Operations

Location: Dubai, UAE (onsite)

Contract: Yearly renewable- Long Term

Job purpose:

As a Back Office Operation Agent, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of the company’s back-office financial operations, with a strong focus on maintaining compliance and regulatory standards. This role demands a high level of accuracy, an analytical mindset, and an ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key accountabilities

Finance Ops:

  • Adhere to stringent regulatory requirements and industry standards in all financial activities.
  • Spearhead settlement activity management, ensuring timely and accurate processing aligned with financial standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure financial transaction accuracy through robust third-party reconciliation processes, reconciliation.
  • Generate and analyze comprehensive financial reports for treasury and finance activities, incorporating detailed revenue, fees, and commissions reconciliation.
  • Manage timely and accurate processing of financial transactions in settlement activities.
  • Optimize liquidity and secure required funds in prefunding processes.
  • Accurately forecast prefunding needs for efficient financial planning and ensure funds’ availability in internal accounts for seamless transaction processing.
  • Monitor prefunded internal account balances vigilantly to prevent service disruptions.
  • Operational Coordination with other Departments and Partners
  • Process and manage various back-office transactions, including account maintenance, reconciliations, and financial record-keeping.
  • Actively manage and resolve partner inquiries related to financial activities, ensuring transparent communication on the status of resolutions.

Experience and Qualification:

  • 4/5 years proven experience in back-office within payments in banks, MFIs, fintech, mobile money, payment service provider, money transfer operator, exchange house…
  • Master’s degree in business administration, Finance or a related field.

Knowledge and skills:

  • Knowledge of back-office operations and quality monitoring procedures.
  • Proficiency in generating and analyzing reports, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Passion of for delivering exceptional customer experiences in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
