Azure DevOps Consultant

Cloud Transformation Services – Migration to the Cloud

• Mandatory:

• Candidate should be able to engage in a variety of customer engagements with focus on Azure. Assisting customers in the design and implementation of architectures within Azure
• A good grasp on the fundamentals of Azure based on Microsoft’s Cloud Adoption Framework
• Good understanding of cloud technologies and DevOps processes for the deployment of these environments
• Azure related knowledge such as Networking, Security, Identity, DR, Storage, Governance), IaaS and PaaS solutions, at enterprise level.
• Direct infrastructure related experience including on-prem to cloud migrations, platform migration, cloud modernization
• Experience working with any of the following: Agile Scrum; Azure Cloud Operations, Management & Optimization; Azure Monitoring; Azure Cost Management; Azure Networking, Network Watcher; Azure Security (Sentinel), Azure Backup & Disaster Recovery; OnPrem Datacentre to Azure Cloud Migration; OnPrem workload to Azure Cloud migration; Secure DevOps; Enterprise Git; OSS; Linux

Desirable:

• Experience working with any of the following: 
• OSS; Linux; UNIX systems
• Certifications for Azure (e.g. Azure Architect or DevOps Expert) or Terraform
• Experience in Agile/Scrum/SAFe
• Identity and Security project experience
• General security knowledge
• Knowledge of frequently used third party technologies such as Splunk, Chef, Ansible, GitLab, Jira, Confluence
• Experience with other cloud providers (such as AWS, GCP, etc.)
• Industry specific knowledge (e.g. financial services industry and insurance,)
