Educational Qualifications and Certifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline, e.g., energy, economics, and behavioral science.

Key Requirements and Competencies

• 3 – 5 years of experience in the energy sector
• Knowledge of all aspects of behavioral change, behavioral sciences, assessment, measurement, verification, and Demand-Side Management (DSM) (energy efficiency and demand response).
• Knowledge of all aspects of regulatory Affairs, including pricing and tariffs, consumer protection, sustainability, energy efficiency, and licensing and compliance.
• Deep understanding of the laws, regulations, and policies set for the energy sector
• Deep understanding of the strategic direction of the Abu Dhabi energy sector, the objectives for the sector, the strategic direction of the Department, and the requirements of key stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic Languages
