Description:
We are a fit-out and interior decoration company that performs renovation of commercial and residential properties across Dubai. As part of our growing plans, we are looking for a skilled AutoCAD Drafter to generate 2D and 3D CAD models for our clients using AutoCAD software. In this role, you will be required to meet with our engineers and clients to discuss design concepts that would be created through CAD models. To ensure success as an AutoCAD Drafter, you should have adequate experience working with AutoCAD software, good design skills, and a keen eye for detail. Understanding and developing shop drawings for joinery works would be considered an advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Meeting with architects, designers, and engineers to discuss design ideas.
- Developing product designs from scratch.
- Presenting rough design drafts for client approval.
- Ensuring product designs meet required safety and structural standards in the fit-out and renovation space.
- Generating Solid and Surface CAD models using AutoCAD software.
- Blending technique and aesthetics to create final designs.
- Presenting various design perspectives for construction improvements and adaptations.
- Finalizing AutoCAD models.
- Presenting models to clients
- Completing job reports.
- Good hands on 3D max software will be plus
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil Engineering or Architectural Studies.
- Previous work experience as an AutoCAD Drafter.
- Advanced knowledge of CAD and AutoCAD software
- Knowledge of Civil and MEP works.
- Knowledge of state safety and structure regulations.
- Knowledge of relevant authorities like DM and DEWA rules and regulations in making drawings.
- Solid technical and communication skills.
- A keen eye for aesthetics and detail.
- Ability to manage/monitor a project in collaboration with site managers.
