What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

  • Provide service to patients and providers during inbound and outbound phone calls while scheduling appointments
  • Capture customer information and document using messaging system to clinic staff and/or providers
  • Schedule patient appointments in electronic systems, prioritizing health concerns according to urgency
  • Provide information to customers regarding appointment location, process steps, and parking
  • Address patient health concerns in accordance with division guidelines and navigate complex situations effectively

What Is Required (Qualifications)

  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience
  • Must possess a High School Diploma or GED
  • Fundamental understanding of customer service principles and patient scheduling systems
  • Ability to handle calls professionally, demonstrating good manners and appropriate protocols
  • Basic knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements in a healthcare setting
