We are excited to offer an exceptional leadership opportunity within our Outstanding Inclusion Department at GEMS Founders School – Dubai for the 2025/2026 academic year. This is your chance to lead a high-performing team and drive excellence, equity, and success for every student.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as an Associate Senior Leader, contributing to whole-school strategic leadership and decision-making.
  • Line-manage five Inclusion Leaders and support a team of nearly 60 professionals, fostering collaboration and excellence.
  • Oversee and lead the Students of Determination (SofD), English Language Learners (ELL), Gifted & Talented (G&T), and Counselling teams, ensuring high-quality provision for all students.
  • Collaborate with Cluster Heads of Inclusion to strengthen inclusive practices across cluster schools.
  • Lead the development and expansion of the Alternative Pathway, creating tailored learning opportunities for diverse learners.
  • Oversee in-house therapy services and the Centre for supporting students of determination, ensuring impactful, evidence-based interventions.
  • Oversee compliance and quality assurance, preparing for internal and external inspections.
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan for the Inclusion Department, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Provide professional development and coaching to staff, equipping them with inclusive teaching strategies and best practices.

Requirements:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar leadership role within inclusive education.
  • Strong expertise in Special Educational Needs (SEN) and strategic inclusion development.
  • Knowledge of UAE regulatory compliance (KHDA, SPEA, ADEK) is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing school-wide inclusion initiatives.
  • Expertise in regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and inspection preparation.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
