Position Overview:
As the Assistant Facility Engineer, you will work alongside the Facility Engineer to ensure the seamless operation and maintenance of our facilities. This role offers an opportunity to apply your engineering expertise in a dynamic environment while contributing to the safety, efficiency, and functionality of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Facility Engineer in managing day-to-day facility operations and maintenance activities.
- Assist in planning and coordinating facility maintenance schedules to ensure optimal functioning of equipment and systems.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings, equipment, and systems to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
- Assist in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems issues.
- Collaborate with external contractors and vendors for repairs, upgrades, and installations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment inventory, and warranty information.
- Participate in the development and implementation of facility improvement projects.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is a prerequisite, and holding NEBOSH certification is considered advantageous.
- While a minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in the UAE is preferred, we also welcome applications from fresh graduates.
- Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and Arabic is an advantage
- Possession of a valid UAE driving license is desirable
