What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Provide high-quality client support to a specific set of practices
- Assist the Revenue Cycle Account Manager in report review, billing inquiries, and charge reconciliation
- Monitor the Revenue Management Report to identify and resolve accounts in EPIC Workqueues
- Conduct research and follow-up for customer service inquiries and trends
- Maintain documentation of workflows and manage shared folders
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Previous professional billing experience preferred, particularly in an EPIC environment
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Outlook
- Effective communication and excellent follow-up skills
- Strong understanding of medical terminology
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience with charge capture processes utilized by healthcare practices
- Familiarity with IPORT or EPIC queries
- Ability to guide practices in obtaining necessary equipment for billing processes
