Assistant Accountant Job in Sharjah

We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team and assist our accountants in day-to-day financial operations.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent problem-solving, organization, communication, and customer service skills. You must also have a working knowledge of accounting principles and be proficient with computer software, including spreadsheet programs and general ledger.

Responsibilities:

• Implement financial processes and procedures.
• Perform monthly closing activities.
• Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements.
• Analyze and reconcile accounts.
• Create and audit reports.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
• Make recommendations to improve current processes and procedures.
• Respond to inquiries from internal colleagues or external customers.
• Participate in ad-hoc projects and other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must be pursuing or have a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Business, or related field
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and customer service skills
• Working knowledge of accounting principles
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Proven analytical and mathematical skills
• Proficient with computer software (e.g. spreadsheets, general ledger)
• Detail-oriented with strong time management skills
