Experience as an Accountant role in printing industry/Tobacco industry is an advantage. Fluent in English. Should be available in UAE to join immediately.

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior/Assistant Accountant to join our team immediately. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Tally ERP, Quick book, Oracle or SAP). The ideal candidate should have 2 years of accounting experience in the UAE and be familiar with local financial regulations and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter financial data into accounting systems (e.g., invoices, receipts, payments, and expenses).
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions.
  • Assist in organizing financial data and ensuring documents are correctly filed for easy retrieval.
  • Record accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
  • Assist in reconciling bank statements with the company’s financial records.
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports.
  • Compile financial data for review by the senior accountant
  • Assist in the preparation of tax returns, ensuring that financial records are in order and compliant with local tax laws.
  • Help prepare necessary documents for tax audits and work with external accountants to ensure timely and accurate filings.
  • Maintain proper documentation to support tax filings.
  • Help senior accountants prepare reports for financial forecasting and budgeting.
  • Assist in reconciling general ledger accounts, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
  • Communicate effectively with other departments, such as human resources or procurement, to gather information or resolve issues related to accounting matters.
  • Assist in coordinating with vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders for billing or payments.
  • Ensure that all accounting processes comply with legal regulations and industry standards.
