Description:

We are looking for an Assistant Accountant

Responsibilities;

• Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
• Issue and prepare invoices
• Track and monitor accounts receivable
• Track and monitor accounts payable
• Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements
• Perform petty cash reconciliations
• Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed.
• Assist senior accountant in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
• Assist with other accounting projects

Requirements and Skills;

• Qualification ACCA finalist, CIMA finalist
• 2 – 4 years of experience within the financial accounting
• Must have experience of QuickBooks, Tally or any other accounting software
• Must have knowledge of IFRS and IAS
• Must have advanced excel skills
• Understanding of accounting and financial accounting principles and practices
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Analytical mind
