Arabic Language Learner Teaching Assistant (Emirati)
Location: GEMS Founders School Dubai, Al Barsha South, UAE
Position Type: Full-time
GEMS Founders School-Dubai is looking for a dedicated Emirati national to join our team as an Arabic Language Support Assistant Teacher. This role is part of our internal Arabic intervention programme, designed to provide targeted language support for students who need additional help in developing their Arabic skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct small-group and one-on-one Arabic intervention sessions to support students’ language development.
- Help students improve speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension skills in Arabic.
- Collaborate with Arabic teachers to identify students requiring additional support.
- Use engaging and interactive methods to enhance Arabic language learning.
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to teachers and parents.
- Communicate with parents in both Arabic and English to update them on their child’s progress and suggest ways to support learning at home.
- Foster a positive and immersive Arabic language environment within the school.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Fluency in both Arabic and English (spoken and written) is essential.
- Experience in education, tutoring, or Arabic language support is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage with parents and provide meaningful feedback on student progress.
