Description:

Arabic Langaugae Senior Trainer

• Ph.D. in Arabic language, linguistics, literature, pedagogy, or related specialization
• At least 3yrs+ of experience in teaching and/or training
• It would be desirable to hold a recognized training qualification
• Willing to work for one of a prestigious colleges located in Abu Dhabi UAE
• Salary up to AED 30,000/-

Responsibitlites:

• Develop training content for the Arabic language programme to meet the learning needs of learners and/or stakeholders which includes PowerPoint presentations, activities, learner and trainer guides, as well as formative and summative assessments.
• Develop online training content using different platforms such as Canvas, Adobe Connect, etc.…
• Deliver Arabic language professional development workshops using various adult training and facilitation techniques such as discussions, group activities and case studies, in addition to adapting training methods to meet the varying needs of learners.
• Identify, select and modify training resources to meet the needs of learners with varying backgrounds, learning styles, and special needs as approved by the Head of the Continuing Education Centre.
• Plan and conduct activities for a balanced training delivery to provide learners with opportunities to observe, question, and investigate topics and content covered during the sessions.
• Create a positive learning environment to encourage learners to actively engage in the learning process.
• Plan, develop and conduct assessment activities in line with the programme learning outcomes.
• Observe and evaluate learners’ attitudes, performance, progress and satisfaction, and generate reports as requested.
• Provide regular verbal and/or written feedback to learners on their progress.
• Any other duties assigned by the Head of Learning and Development.
