We’re on the lookout for a highly skilled and detail-oriented API Test Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dubai, UAE. If you have a knack for API testing, specifically with GraphQL and RESTful APIs, we want to hear from you!
Location: Dubai, UAE (Onsite)
Job Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and scripts
- Execute manual tests for functionality, performance, and reliability
- Automate tests using POSTMAN collections and other tools
- Collaborate with our Digital Factory to ensure seamless API integration
- Identify, document, and track defects
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing practices
- Maintain comprehensive test documentation
Key Skills:
- Extensive experience in API testing (GraphQL & RESTful)
- Proficiency in manual testing techniques
- Ability to write clear and comprehensive test cases
- Expertise in creating and managing POSTMAN collections
- Strong skills in test automation
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Day-to-Day Activities:
- Collaborate with the Digital Factory on API requirements
- Develop and execute test plans
- Manage POSTMAN collections for automated testing
- Report and resolve defects
- Update test documentation and reports
- Enhance API testing practices and processes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years in API testing (GraphQL & RESTful)
- Proven experience in manual testing and test case writing
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with performance testing tools
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)
