What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Process and post customer lockbox cash receipts, wire transfers, and credit card payments
- Prepare special accounts receivable customer reports as needed
- Investigate cash application issues to solve internal and external problems
- Communicate and log customer pre-payments received for new orders
- Collect on delinquent accounts in accordance with company policy and email account summaries to customers
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a related accounts receivable and/or collections field
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to interact positively with customers and co-workers
- Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience with online billing portals and payment facilitation
- Familiarity with month-end close processes
- Proven ability to identify areas for continuous improvement within accounts receivable processes
