Welcome to Alpine Intel, a leader in the property insurance intelligence industry. We are currently seeking a Accounts Receivable Assistant to join our growing team in Louisville, KY. The Accounts Receivable Assistant at Alpine Intel plays a critical role in driving the success across all verticals. The ideal candidate for the Accounts Receivable Assistant position will have strong organizational skills, excellent customer service skills, experience with AR systems, collections, and third-party platforms, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. This is an entry level position that reports to the Accounts Receivable Manager

Key Responsibilities Include:
- Contact customers by phone and email to collect outstanding balances
- Serve as the primary contact for the AR phone queue and shared email inboxes
- Enter invoices into various third-party systems
- Assist customers with troubleshooting invoicing and payment issues, or direct customers to the correct internal contact
- Work with regional managers and project managers to resolve discrepancies or client issues
- May assist with cash receipt entry and invoicing
- Other duties as directed by management
Minimum Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience working in AR, including collections
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred
- Proficient computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office
- Must possess a strong work ethic and exhibit a positive attitude
- Must be mathematically adept
- Excellent verbal and written communication skill
Physical Requirements:
- Works in an office environment and uses a computer, telephone and other office equipment as needed to perform duties.
- Noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office.
- Incumbent may encounter frequent interruptions throughout the workday.
- Regularly required to sit, talk, or hear; frequently required to use repetitive hand motion, handle or feel, and to stand, walk, reach, bend or lift up to 25 pounds.
