Description:

Falcon Pack is urgently hiring for Accounts Payable Supervisor.

Job Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the accounts payable process and ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
• Managing a team of accounts payable clerks or specialists, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
• Monitoring and maintaining the accounts payable ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of records.
• Reviewing and reconciling vendor statements to resolve discrepancies and outstanding issues.
• Coordinating with vendors and internal departments to resolve payment-related inquiries and concerns.
• Implementing and enforcing accounts payable policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company and accounting standards.
• Monitoring cash flow to ensure sufficient funds are available for timely payments.
• Analyzing accounts payable data and generating reports for management, highlighting key metrics and trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, particularly related to accounts payable processes, invoicing, and payment methods.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workloads, and ensure deadlines are met in a fast-paced environment.
• A keen eye for accuracy, as even minor errors in accounts payable could have significant consequences.
• Advanced Excel skills
• Bachelor Degree in accountancy.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an Accounts Payable Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role
• Experience with specific accounts payable modules within ERP systems. i.e. SAP
• Any professional qualifications i.e. ACCA, CIMA,CPA, CMA etc.
