Responsibilities
What You’ll Do:
Responsible for the coordination of the work of the department at its highest level without constant supervision. Provide guidance to the staff, evaluation of the PFP’s for department, and review of the KPI’s.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate any Accounts Payable Audit requests and documentation
- Support Vendor Master / Payment functions
- Support Monthly End Process with AP Manager
- Liaison with Business Unit over exception management
- Ability to manage and direct the team
- Regulatory reporting requirements, 1099, unclaimed property
- Effective Communication Skills
- Printing of local checks and loading of cleared checks
- Workflow Management
- Support of AP Manager
- Participate and coordinate training of staff
- Update policies and process documentation
- Management of queue and daily work loads
- Ability to oversee day to day operations
- Payables reporting
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
Experience:
- Five (5) years of accounting experience.
- Experience leading a team of individuals, in an accounting or business environment.
- Must be knowledgeable of payable processes and team structure.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with IFS, FastAP and Concur.

- Considerable skills in problem solving, and consensus abilities.
- Demonstrated statistical and quantitative skills. Able to quickly analyze and integrate information from relevant and sometimes disparate sources.
- Possesses critical thinking skills to synthesize scenarios and perspectives to problem solving.
- Business/Financial Acumen:
- Ability to produce at a high production and oversee the day-to-day operations within the team.
- Able to run reports and report results to management team.
- Proficient in the use of computers and computer software programs such as Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Business Partner/Effective Communicator:
- Self-starter, highly motivated individual with the ability to multi-task.
- Strong attention to detail and highly organized to provide accurate processing.
- Agile to continuous change and ability to lead team effectively through change process.
- Collaboration and Teamwork/Influence:
- Proficiency in exception resolution and team organization.
- Build relationships and communicate effectively in order to positively influence peers and other stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.

- Supervisory/Budget Responsibilities
- Supervisor of a team responsible for processing invoices for the business units managed. AP Audits, Exception Management and overall payables knowledge of process.

- The following salary range is intended to display the value of the company’s base pay compensation and may be modified at the discretion of the company.
- USD $ 60,000 – 90,000
- Provided salary range minimum and maximum values correspond to variances between regional/geographic locations across the United States.
