What’s unique about this role?
The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for processing all accounts payable functions within the Finance team. They will assist with month end and year-end reporting. This position requires sharp focus and the ability to effectively prioritize in a high-volume environment. The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent organization skills, excellent verbal and written communication, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.
What will this person do?
- Responsible for the Accounts Payable, from vendor approval to payment.
- Monitors the Accounts Payable email inbox and act as a liaison with India team.
- Ensure internal controls and security checks are documented and followed. Work with all auditors to support these controls.
- Using knowledge of coding and the business, identify and resolve any unusual or questionable invoices, prices or coding.
- Communicate with Company employees and vendors, maintaining positive relationships.
- Assist in the New vendor onboarding forms and setup in D365.
- Concur Accounting & Accounts Payable Aging reconciliation
- Backup for Amex and Insurance Accounting.
- Backup for Purchase Order cycle (create and manage purchase orders with other business departments and ensure compliance).
- Prepare monthly journal reclass entries and reconciliations related to Accounts Payable, Credit Card, Accrued Payables and others as assigned.
- Handle daily cash disbursement and cash transfers.
- Prepare analysis of vendor balances and produce monthly trend reports as requested to support cash forecasting.
- Assist with month end closing.
- Prepare year-end 1099 reporting.
- Maintain confidentiality of organizational information.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Bachelor’s degree or AA in finance or accounting, or related field.
- A minimum experience of 2 years in an Accounts Payable corporate accounting environment.
- Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Strong communication skills and ability to effectively communicate to all levels of the organization both internal and external.
- Ability to work creatively in a problem-solving environment.
- Willingness to adapt to a rapidly changing environment and rapidly changing systems.
- Strong attention to detail with high volume activities, highly organized, proactive, flexible and with ability to juggle competing priorities and work with a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Highly organized, with the ability to juggle competing priorities, be proactive, and seek assistance when needed.
- Adherence to current processes and procedures, while also striving to continually improve processes and procedures over the long term.
- Remote, Pacific Standard Time (8 AM PST)
Work Environment and Physical Demands
Duties are performed in a typical office environment while at a desk or computer table. Duties require the ability to use a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material, in a quiet and professional setting.
Duties may require occasionally working outside normal business hours (evenings and weekends).

The salary range for this position may be tailored to be lower or higher in different talent markets.
The expected pay for this role will range from $47,040 to $60,000 per year. This role will be eligible to participate in an annual bonus or incentive program.
