Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee financial accounts for various stakeholders within the horse racing community.
- Accurately process payments, disbursements, and conduct thorough account reconciliations.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to horsemen and other relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure precise and timely data entry along with diligent recordkeeping practices.
- Assist in the processing of jockey payroll and manage stake accounts effectively.
- Uphold compliance with all pertinent regulations and operational procedures.
Required Skills
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting-related positions such as bookkeeping, Accounts Payable, or Accounts Receivable.
- Strong familiarity with accounting principles and financial record-keeping.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- High degree of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data entry applications.
- Experience with accounting software is advantageous.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred but not mandatory.
