Accounts Officer Required in Dubai

Position – Accountant and FX Deal Operations Officer.

Responsibilities

• Reconciliation of all foreign and local banks and FX accounts with correspondent banks
• Reconciliation of third-party accounts
• Monitoring of funding activities
• Control and report daily settlement activities
• Verify and assist in journal entries
• Prepare daily/ weekly/ monthly reconciliation report
• Prepare, examine, analyze accounting records, financial statements and reports, with accuracy, complete for reporting as per procedural standards
• Monitor and supervise the work of the subordinates to reduce the risks in posting journal entries
• Prepare and handle documents for audit and compliance purpose
• Assessment of FX deals required for remittance operations
• Tracking and recording deals of FX with various banks and correspondents and charting the FX rates in the system
• Analyze FX rates, trends, monitor FX pair rates and register same in the system with accuracy
• Analyze market fluctuations and record, share with operations team and assess related requisite actionable and execute with care

Experience & Qualifications

• Experience – Approximately 5 years’ experience with proven knowledge and clear concepts, about functions
• Of accounts and FX deals in a multi-corridor based payment service/ cross-border remittance company.
• Should be confident of handling responsibilities in a startup environment.
