Hiring Accounts Executive

Location: Dubai

A rapidly growing timber company is seeking a dedicated and experienced Accounts Executive to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently managing petty cash, accounts receivable, vendor payments, and providing support in the production and manufacturing of raw materials reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage petty cash: Responsible for maintaining and reconciling petty cash transactions. Ensure accurate record-keeping and timely reimbursement of expenses.
• Accounts Receivable: Handle invoicing, billing, and collection of payments from clients. Monitor accounts aging and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Vendor Payments: Process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payments. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
• Production and Manufacturing Support: Collaborate with the manufacturing team to compile and analyze raw materials reports. Ensure accurate cost, stock allocation and reporting.
• Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial reports and forecasts. Provide support during audits and compliance reviews.
• General Ledger Entries: Provide support in recording and reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
• Oddo Experience: Previous experience with the Oddo ERP system is a plus.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of UAE experience in accounting and finance roles.
• Knowledge of the industrial or timber industry is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
