Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts cum Auditor with 2-3 years of UAE experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in accounting, auditing, financial reporting, and compliance with UAE regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial transactions.
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, balance sheets, profit & loss accounts, and cash flow statements.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and UAE regulations.
- Review and verify invoices, payments, and expense reports.
- Assist in VAT filing, corporate tax compliance, and financial audits.
- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and suggest improvements.
- Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation.
- Ensure adherence to IFRS standards and UAE financial regulations.
- Maintain records and support ERP/accounting software usage.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of UAE experience in accounting and auditing.
- Proficiency in Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho and other ERPs.
- Knowledge of UAE VAT laws, IFRS, and audit procedures.
- Excellent skills in MS Excel and financial analysis.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a CA firm or audit firm in the UAE.
- Certification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA is a plus (Not Mandatory).
- Familiarity with UAE corporate tax and compliance requirements.
