Description

  • Position Reports to Director, Finance.
  • Work Days: Primarily Monday through Friday.
  • Infrequent travel may be required.
  • Evening and weekend work may be required infrequently.
  • FLSA Status: Non-Exempt.

OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB

  • Assists the accounting department with invoicing, and the receipt and accounting of funds for the organization.

Requirements

  • Prepares semi-monthly invoicing of time and expenses submitted by 150+ consultants.
  • Distribute invoices to clients via their preferred method.
  • Compile receipts for reimbursable expenses as requested by client.
  • Review timesheet entries for accuracy and missing information.
  • Track submission of time and expense reports.
  • Researches and solves payment discrepancies.
  • Support Director of Finance and Finance Manager with special projects and accounting functions as needed.
  • Follow up on accounts receivable collections and provide weekly status report to Director of Finance.
  • Provide general clerical data entry support to accounting department.

ADMINISTRATIVE

  • Maintains complete confidentiality on all financial matters.
  • Works cooperatively in a team environment.

Education

  • Associates degree considered with 3-5 years experience.

Experience

  • Three to five years previous accounting experience preferred.
  • Prior NetSuite experience.
  • Microsoft Office skills, focused on Word and Excel.

Language Skills

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees or organization.

Reasoning Ability

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Software Proficiency

  • Must be experienced in using the following programs:
  • Word
  • Excel
  • Outlook E-mail
  • NetSuite
