About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Officer to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and statutory requirements. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
- Monitor and manage company budgets and expenditures
- Assist with internal and external audits
- Maintain accurate documentation and filing systems
- Liaise with vendors, clients, and internal departments regarding financial transactions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is an advantage
- Minimum [2-4] years of experience in accounting or finance
- Strong knowledge of accounting software and MS Excel
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
